Manny Fox has enjoyed an extensive career producing, directing, and writing Broadway hits as well as musical compilations and numbers. His unrivalled success continues with his most recent projects including Duke Ellington’s Sophisticated Ladies; a major Broadway hit that not only incorporated 5 touring troupes but was also the first Pay-Per-View production of a Broadway musical. This ground breaking TV special, performed live at a Broadway theatre, was also released as a DVD special.
Broadway musicals aren’t the only area where Manny Fox has enjoyed such unparalleled success either. As one of the first packagers to create and successfully sell anthology collections, he has compiled n fewer than 2 dozen best selling compilations including some of the biggest names in music including Bing Crosby and Louis Armstrong. These anthologies have generated no fewer than 6 multi platinum hits making Manny Fox one of the must successful anthology producers of all time.
Far from sitting back and enjoying his past credits, Manny Fox continues to excel in new and exciting projects. Fox has taken on the mantle of producer and director of an all Puerto-Rican cast in the historic Broadway production of Murderous Instincts. Continuing in this Puerto Rican vein, Manny is also credited with being producer and director of the new musical comedy “Family Fortune†about a rich Puerto Rican family’s bitter fighting over who should have access to the family’s fortune. Other projects include a book of short stories titled “Dodging Bullets†co-hosting Radio WOSO; Puerto Rico’s only English language radio station.
